A South Florida that is thriving, engaged, and serves as a model community for major cities around the globe. That is the philanthropic vision of the Jorge M. Pérez Family Foundation – led by Jorge M. Pérez, chairman and CEO of The Related Group, his wife Darlene, and their family.
Jorge and Darlene launched their foundation in 2015 with the help of The Miami Foundation, becoming an expression of their deep commitment to charitable giving and a way to establish a permanent legacy their children can carry forward. The entire Pérez family shares an eagerness to give, most recently donating their family home to The Miami Foundation – making it the largest unique gift ever received to date.

Our Partnership with The Miami Foundation
The Jorge M. Pérez Family Foundation is a charitable fund housed at The Miami Foundation. The Pérez Family Foundation partners with The Miami Foundation to strategically guide and manage its philanthropic efforts and shares The Miami Foundation’s commitment to building a better Miami. The Pérez family has been involved with The Miami Foundation for over 30 years and leverages the Foundation’s knowledge of the community to help inform their charitable giving. The Miami Foundation works in deep partnership with Belissa Alvarez, Director of the Pérez Family Foundation.
