Jorge Pérez Family Foundation’s Grant Opportunities
The Jorge M. Pérez Family Foundation invests in innovative, groundbreaking organizations and initiatives across a multitude of issue areas, with a core focus on supporting arts, culture, and education. The Miami Foundation works with the family to develop a framework for grantmaking to address these areas of interest. Since May 2015, the Foundation has awarded more than 600 grants and has invested and committed over $100 million to scaling impact organizations in Miami.

Pérez CreARTE Program
Our Foundation aims to develop South Florida as a world-class urban center. A thriving, equitable arts community is essential to making Greater Miami a vibrant, connected and culturally engaging place to live. The CreARTE Program works to cultivate this ecosystem, making our city a global hub for artistic excellence.
Pérez Community Impact Grants
The Jorge M. Pérez Family Foundation at The Miami Foundation aims to develop South Florida as a world-class urban center. The Foundation has awarded $1,750,000 in grants benefiting nonprofit organizations dedicated to promoting equitable education opportunities, addressing growing concerns of economic inequality and more.
While the Foundation does not create open calls for these grants, the Pérez Family, The Miami Foundation, and the Jorge M. Pérez Family Foundation make it a priority to stay attuned to the organizations doing high-impact work in Greater Miami to support their work.

The Pérez CreARTE grant program invests in Miami-Dade County arts organizations working to cultivate this ecosystem by expanding residents’ access to the arts and making our city a global hub for artistic excellence. It awards grants in the focus areas of Arts Access, Arts Education, and Artist Residencies & Fellowships. The Pérez Family Foundation believes that effective arts education can inspire creative development in local youth, drive a lifelong interest in and appreciation for the arts, and build audiences for the future. The Foundation seeks to support top artistic talent and attract artists to Miami by creating local fellowship and residency programs.
Through their investments, the Pérez Family Foundation wants to provide capital and support for exemplary arts organizations to embrace artistic risk-taking, expand the diversity of creative experiences and audiences, and present work that inspires with its excellence and relevance.
