Arts Access

Armour Dance Theatre – $100,000
To enable Armour Dance Theatre to create a transformative dance experience, with powerful choreography that resonates universally with audiences of all backgrounds, cultures, and ages, and performed by our diverse troupe of young dancers in new and unexpected venues.

Art Prevails Project – $100,000 
To support Art Prevails Project in creating a series of new multidisciplinary work rooted in collaboration between playwrights and composers that explores relevant social themes and takes place in and draws from local communities.

Commissioner – $150,000
To support Commissioner’s continued growth as it uses art and creative collaboration as connective tissue to turn locals into art collectors and elevating the work of emerging artists.

Florida International University Foundation – $100,000 
To scale the collaboration between FIU’s Wolfsonian Public Humanities Lab WPHL and IPC ArtSpace/Iris PhotoCollective IPC in Miami’s Little Haiti, including hosting six exhibitions of documentary photography on various themes and the creation of rich and inspiring activations.

Hued Songs – $100,000 
To support Hued Songs to invest in programs that celebrate and support Black and Brown artists and scale highly accessible multidisciplinary artistic programming across Miami-Dade County.

Miami Children’s Museum – $100,000 
To expand the reach of the Miami Children’s Museum’s arts and education programming in underserved neighborhoods.

Miami-Dade County Auditorium – $200,000
To support On.Stage Black.Box at Miami-Dade County Auditorium, a multicultural performance series in Little Havana. This grant is made in honor of Michael Spring and his longtime dedication to arts access in Miami.

Museum of Contemporary Art, Inc – $100,000 
To enable the Museum of Contemporary Art to scale the free multi-generational hands-on artmaking workshops at Sunkist Grove Community Center, North Miami Public Library, Brockway Memorial Library, and on MOCA’s campus to meet the needs of the community and double opportunities for participation.

O Cinema – $100,000 
To expand O Cinema’s film and new media programming across South Florida by launching a new public art exhibition series featuring 20 interactive Augmented Reality AR experiences annually, and bringing free Virtual Reality VR technology and content to local libraries to reach the broader public in South Florida, including both residents and tourists.

Rhythm Foundation – $150,000

To enable Rhythm Foundation to further develop its Bandshell Laboratories platform, supporting South Florida artists creating innovative work.

The Deering Estate Foundation, Inc. – $100,000 
To enable the Deering Estate Foundation to acquire much-needed upgraded sound, video, and lighting equipment for the community blackbox theater in order to expand and meet the needs of performing artists and support audience engagement.

Third Horizon Film Festival – $100,000
To expand Third Horizon Film Festival’s year-round screenings and operations across South Florida’s Caribbean neighborhoods.

Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County – $100,000 
To support the expansion of the Arsht Center’s free Learning Through the Arts education program.

African Heritage Cultural Arts Center – $100,000 
To provide general operating support for the youth arts education programs at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center.

Area Stage Company – $100,000 
To support Area Stage Company expand its Student Professional training program, serving neurotypical and neurodiverse aspiring young actors through affordable professional-level training in the performing arts, supporting their journey to a professional career.

Arts for Learning – $200,000 
To support Arts for Learning’s visual art, theatre, music, and creative movement preschool programs at Miami-Dade County Head Start & Early Head Start classrooms to nurture the social emotional development and school readiness of our community’s youngest and most vulnerable learners.

GableStage – $100,000
To enable GableStage to grow the reach and scale of Education and Outreach programming.

Guitars Over Guns – $200,000
To enable Guitars Over Guns to deepen its support for its mentors and augment its middle school programming.

Juggerknot Theatre Company – $100,000
To enable Juggerknot Theatre Company to augment and expand its immersive education program, Miami Bus Stop Stories.

Mexican American Council – $100,000
To support MAC’s youth music programming and the Homestead Miami Mariachi Conservatory.

Miami Children’s Museum – $100,000
To expand the reach of the Miami Children’s Museum’s arts and education programming in underserved neighborhoods.

Miami City Ballet – $100,000
To expand and enhance the scale and scope of Miami City Ballet’s existing suite of community engagement programming.

Miami Museum of Contemporary Art of the African Diaspora Miami MoCAAD – $100,000
To support a two-year collaboration between Miami MoCAAD, the Miami Dade Public Library System, and Tech Girl Power to bring AR and VR art + tech educational experiences focusing on contemporary art of Africa and the Diaspora.

Miami Music Project – $150,000
To fulfill Miami Music Project’s strategic vision of expanding its reach to low-income and immigrant communities and strengthened programming that uses music as an instrument for social transformation.

Moonlighter FabLab – $100,000
To enable the expansion of Moonlighter FabLab’s quality STEAM programs serving Miami-Dade County Public School students, with a priority on underserved youth in Miami Beach, Miami, and Homestead.

[NAME] Publications – $100,000
To expand programs, support capacity building, and growth at [NAME] Publications, an organization in West Miami dedicated to expanding literacy in the arts and preserving artistic legacies that have a connection to this city.

Nu Deco Ensemble – $150,000
To support Nu Deco Ensemble’s education and outreach programs and providing performance and teaching opportunities to musicians, teaching artists, and guest collaborators.

O, Miami – $150,000
To scale O, Miami’s education programs enabling it to reach new schools, students, and audiences.

The Children’s Voice Chorus – $100,000
To support internal and artistic infrastructure-building for the Children’s Voice Chorus as it expands to meet demand from the community for highly accessible, culturally relevant choral education programs for any youth who desires to sing across Miami.

Young Musicians Unite – $200,000
To enable Young Musicians Unite to expand access to consistent music education for middle and high schoolers.

Bakehouse Art Complex – $200,000
To provide general operating support for Bakehouse Art Complex as it embarks on its next strategic plan.

Diaspora Vibe Cultural Arts Incubator, Inc DVCAI – $100,000
To enable Diaspora Vibe Cultural Arts Incubator DVCAI to grow its Catalyst Award Fellowship program and support artist studio rent, program staff, and travel for Catalyst awardees.

Fountainhead Arts – $100,000
To enable Fountainhead Arts to deepen and expand its core artist residency program.

Miami Dade College – Miami Book Fai – $100,000
To support the Miami Book Fair’s Emerging Writers Fellowship program that supports writer fellowships in fiction, nonfiction, and poetry.

Miami Light Project – $100,000
To support Miami Light Project’s Artist-in-Residence program enabling it to commission bold, new artistic work and to invest in technology.

Oolite Arts – $100,000
To enable Oolite Arts to continue to provide transformative experiences for Miami artists to practice and hone their craft elsewhere with other fellow Miami artists.

The Writers Room @ The Betsy – $100,000
To enable The Writer’s Room @ The Betsy to increase direct support to resident artists, enhance community programming, engage and train community curators and arts administrators, and create a diversified fundraising program to ensure long-term sustainability.

Women Photographers International Archive WOPHA – $100,000
To scale the Women Photographers International Archive WOPHA programs to support two annual Research Fellowships and two annual Artists-in-Residence for women photographers and photography scholars, furthering Miami as a meeting place for the international photography community.
